The Brent Reservoir is
located in Northwest London, a few minutes away from junction 1 of the M1
motorway.
The A406 (North
Circular Road) and the A5 (Edgware Road) run past the reservoir. From the A5
turn into Cool Oak Lane, where a narrow bridge separates the Northern and
Eastern marshes. The reserve is best accessed from here, parking is provided
about 100 metres past the bridge. The closest railway station is Hendon, on the
Thameslink line, which is a short walk away (turn right into Station Road then
left onto West Hendon Broadway, after 50 metres cross over and walk down Cool
Oak Lane. |
